the other night, Chester and i were sitting 

together in the living room with our two month old, Porter.

he had just finished his last bottle of the night

and was in a rather jolly mood,

smiling and cooing at his best friend,

the ceiling fan.

Chester laughed from across the way, where he was sitting on the couch,

and Porter immediately began looking around for his daddy.

so, with that, Chester knelt down in front of the loveseat

where Mr. Squishee and i were sitting 

and started baby babbling with him.

we noticed that every time Chester nodded his head, 

Porter did too . . . 

he's quite a character!

{ my hand is supporting his head, 

but that's it . . . he's nodding on his own }

ps . . .

i was recording with my phone and 

my notification tone, the rooster, decided to tell me i had a text. 

 [ i suppose it is a little 

more tame than the previous turkey gobble

or squeeky toy sound i had on there . . . ]

my husband loves it.
