it's official!

...the names are in! i couldn't deal with not having the name for the baby picked out right away. for some reason, i just feel like i can't move on until the name is chosen. if it's a girl, her name will be Lucille, Lucy for short. her middle name will most likely be Clella, which is a family name, or Mae, or possibly Moxie. for a little history lesson, Lucille was the name of my great grandmother. she, a widow, raised my grandma and her brothers during the depression on the salary of a teacher. she was a very strong lady!


so far, both of our kids have been named after someone in our family. Bailey's middle name is Malloy, which is the combined names of my grandma, Marcia and my grandpa, Lloyd. they are two of the greatest people i have ever known and i admire them with all my heart. Chloe's middle name is Milada, which is her great, great, great grandmother who was a bohemian, child prodigy pianist. she played some of the most prestiges venues around the world, but as a teenager, lost the majority of her eyesight and was never really able to play in public again. she was an amazing woman.


if we have a boy, his name will be Rex! Chester absolutely LOVES this name. i think it's super cute and not very common. i'll probably call him Rexy...cuz i think it's adorable! his middle name will most likely be Oscar or Lloyd, which are both family names.


aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh..... it feels so good to have the names picked out!


PS....we aren't going to find out the sex until this little baby is out in the world with us! very exciting!
